Cruising World - April 2001 Although not available for our comparison testing, a new-comer to the radar reflector market shows promise. The Tri-Lens, marketed by Rozendal Associates in Santee, California, uses the same Luneberg lens technology as the Lensref and Cyclops reflectors, but with a twist. By using a triple-lens configuration, the Tri-Lens claims to offer a significant advantage over it's single-lens counterparts. The makers claim that due to this unique lens configuration, the Tri-Lens will experience minimal loss of performance in heeling or rolling conditions, a concern with all radar reflectors. The Tri-Lens is available in both a standard version weighing 5.5 pounds and using 5.25-inch-diameter lenses and a mini version weighing in at only 2 pounds.
